Chlamydia

Chlamydia is the most common STD. Lucky for everyone, it is also curable. Thousands of cases are reported every year, and that’s only half of the people that get it, the others don’t report it. There are roughly 3 to 4 million new cases each year.

For men, the primary infection of Chlamydia is in the Urethra. The infection may also be called urethritis. Urethra is the “tube” that carries urine and sperm. Some symptoms for men are:
- Burning Urination
- Pain in Testicles
- Pain in the Rectum

For women, the primary infection happens in the cervix. The cervix is the opening that connects the vagina to the uterus. The infection is also called cervicitis.
Some symptoms for men are:
- Vaginal Irritation
- Painful Sexual Intercourse
- Pain in the rectum
- Pelvic Pain
