In women, trichomoniasis causes a vaginal infection. For men, it causes an infection in the urethra, the tube that carries urine and the sperm.
Some symptoms of trichomoniasis is pain on runitation or ejaculation, strong vaginal odor, irritation or itching on the vaginal area, or pain in sexual intercourse.
